Grand Slam Contest
Our Grand Slam contest, is now open for the season. Registration closes Thursday April 5th, at 7 AM EST.
The contest covers the following 4 Major tournaments :
Each Tournament field will be divided into performance groups based on World Tour Rankings on the Tuesday preceeding each event. This is a contest of skill that requires contestants to select 2 different golfers from each performance group.
Selection Form for the Masters will be available Monday, April 2nd.
Total Player Earnings of contestants selection s over the 4 tournament will determine winners. 80% of funds are paid out for the overall winners and 20% will be paid out for the specific tournament winners. The Prize payouts will be based on the # of participants. Last season the prize fund was $1,200 and paid out as follows:
* First Place 45%
* Second Place 25%
* Third Place 10%
* Masters Winner 5%
* U.S. Open Winner 5%
* The Open Winner 5%
* PGA Winner 5%
A total of 10 golfers (5 groups) will be selected in each of the 4 events however you can only use the same golfer in 2 of the 4 tournaments.
You may select amateur golfers from the tournament fields where applicable. While they may not receive earnings from the tournament, you will receive in our Contest the equivalent earnings based on their final position in said tournament.
If selections are not received in time for any tournament you will be provided with the highest (best) ranked eligible golfers from each group. Such selections must meet the criteria of not having being selected more than twice previously.
If an entry has a missing selection(s), the empty selection(s) will be replaced by the golfer with the highest (best) ranking from the same performance group not already selected by the entry. Such selections must meet the criteria of not having being selected more than twice previously.
If an entry has a golfer selected that does not start the tournament for any reason whatsoever, participants who have selected such golfer(s) will be provided with the next highest ranked golfer to the missing golfer that has not already been selected by the entry. If there is no higher ranked golfer available, then the missing golfer(s) will be replaced by the next lowest ranked golfer that has not already been selected by such entry. Replacement golfer(s) will be from the same performance group and must meet the criteria of not having being selected more than twice previously.
Participants who have selected a player who withdraws after having commenced play will not be provided with a substituted player.
The Tournament field will be published on the Monday preceding Tournament play. The presence of other players or changes in the Tournament field after it has been published shall in no way affect the outcome of the Tournament.
An email will be sent to each participant requesting player selections to be submitted. Selections including changes will be accepted up until 7pm EST on the day preceding start of play. It is recommended that contestants review their selections on the PGA Tour site at http://www.pgatour.com prior to the deadline.
No responsibility will be taken for contest registrations or contestant s selections which are lost, delayed, damaged, not received properly on the web site or misdirected in any other manner in the mail or any other electronic means including the Internet.
The entry fee for this contest is $50 Canadian and payment must be sent before start of play to participate in this contest. Failure to send payment before start of play will result in the immediate removal of all your entries from this contest.

Payment by cheque, money order & bank drafts are also accepted by mail from Canadian participants however must be postmarked before start of play.

Any contestant whose payment is returned unpaid will be subject to immediate loss of all entries for such contestant from all contests.
Entries: There will be no limit of the number of entries to the Contest. Contestants may enter the Contest as many times as they wish, provided they pay the stated entry fee for each of their entries.

All entries become the property of the Contest Administrator and none will be returned.
There is a 10% Contest administration fee applied to the winners.
This Contest is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the PGA Tour or any other organization.
The Contest Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any contestant or to withdraw or amend the contest at any time in its absolute discretion in case of error, technical problem or any matter interfering with the conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these rules.
The decisions of the Contest Administrator is final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. By entering this contest you acknowledge acceptance of all Contest rules and agree to be bound by them.
